Radiance Digital Entertainment and Omniverse Games to Publish Online Games in North America

Portsmouth, NH March 5, 2010
North American gamers will soon

be playing unique and innovative games from the studios of leading independent game developer Radiance Digital Entertainment. Excalibur Online will begin closed beta testing in March, with an official launch scheduled for April. Beach Volleyball Online will follow one month later. "When I first saw the quality and potential for these games, I knew we had to bring them to the English speaking world" says Jonathan Seidenfeld, CEO of Omniverse Games, "Both games fill niches sorely underrepresented in today's market."

"We are pleased with the support and dedication Omniverse Games has shown during the localization phase of development, and we are looking forward to seeing these games make a splash in North America" says Montgomery Singman, CEO of Radiance Digital Entertainment. While each of the games appeals to a different demographic, they both take advantage of the current demand for games representing new genres in the fast growing free-to-play online gaming space.

Excalibur Online is a browser based free-to-play massively multiplayer online real time strategy (MMORTS) game. Set in post Roman Britain in the years just preceding the rise of King Arthur and Camelot, players in Excalibur Online must collect resources and quickly develop new technology in order to build up their cities, maintain powerful armies, and try to unify Britain under their own rule. Of course thousands of other players have the same goal, so it's a never ending battle for resources and development. Players can enter into (and break) alliances with other players, get help from legendary heroes, and use magical special items to achieve their objectives. More information including screenshots and Closed Beta sign-ups can be found on the official Excalibur Online website (http://www.excaliburmmo.com) as well as on our official Facebook Fan Page.

Beach Volleyball Online is a free-to-play Sports MMO. Players are immersed in an exquisite 3D world set in a lush beach side environment. The game incorporates the intense tactics and competition of real beach volleyball into a larger virtual world where players and their avatars can explore, socialize, and make new friends. BVO is one of the first true sports MMOs in that it features a large, stable persistent world, character development, exploration, and can be played however the player chooses to enjoy the game. Much more information including screenshots, videos, closed beta signups, and an introduction to the BVO community can be found on the official BVO website (http://www.bvogame.com) and on our official Facebook Fan Page.

Engineering Degrees Account for 8 of the Top 10 Best Paying Bachelor’s Degrees

Emagister.net has shown an increase in searches for Engineering Degrees due to a recently released top paying degrees survey. The survey published

by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) shows that Engineering students have a starting salary advantage over their business counterparts and will enter the job market at a salary rate that is 1.5 times higher than bachelor’s degree graduates as a whole.

(PRWEB) March 28, 2010 -- Engineering degrees may not be the most sought after degrees or may not appear on the most popular degree lists specifically for lesser known professions such as petroleum engineers, but times are changing and the economic crisis is influencing education as well. The recent survey has drawn interest from readers as evidenced by the rise in students who have taken to the web in search of Engineering degrees such as Computer Engineering Degrees on educational directories such as Emagister.net

In NACE's Winter 2010 Salary Survey, engineering disciplines account for eight of the 10 bachelor's degrees that could prove most valuable to graduates entering the job market. There are many variables that go into determining starting salaries however it appears that the most influential factor driving up starting salaries to 1.5 times the normal rate is the low number of students holding these degrees or set to graduate with engineering titles. Competition in the job market is driving up earning potential for those holding bachelor’s degrees in fields such as Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Computer Engineering. Schools such as ECPI College of Technology, RETS College and Walden University offer degrees in engineering that can be completed on campus, online or a combination of both in order to respond to the demands for programs in these fields not only from beginning students but from working adults looking for a career change and salary boost.

Emagister.net was launched in 2009 as an education resource for individuals looking to better themselves through education. Run by experts in the education industry, Emagister is currently serving 11 countries with 3 more planned launches in the second quarter of 2010. Emagister is well on its way of becoming the World’s Education Pathfinder.
